“The Aerialworx team are leaders in global UAV Research, Development and Consultancy for government, military and private projects”. Based at the prestigious MSParc Menai Science Park in Anglesey, North Wales, the team consists of experts within the fields of aerospace engineering, electronic engineering, software engineering and emerging UAV technologies from all over the globe. The Aerialworx workshop is fully loaded with the latest tech, CNC cutting, CNC milling, CNC drilling, numerous 3D printers and Vaccuum forming (check out their 360 virtual tour).

MSParc is a lovely and energetic space, a piece of art and from the moment you walk in to the Aerialworx offices, it is clear that there’s a number of projects on the go. It was a delight speaking with the owner and CEO Stefanie Williams; she went on to explain that they “always have two or three projects on the go and all the sensitive projects have been moved into a secure area before the visit”.
MSParc itself is linked to Bangor University and we always have collaborative research projects on the go. At the moment, we have two new UAV R&D projects on the go; one new prototype UAV which we’re desiging ourselves as a demo unit which is being designed from the ground up to fulfill an unique set of requirements; the UAV has extended operating time, incorporates new AI software which we develop in-house, for detecting and identifying objects and taking decisions based upon those objects. We’re also doing a lot of work with BVLOS technology, long range UAV communication using GSM/LTE technology, specialist UAV perching and inductive charging systems, UAV collaboration and swarming where UAVs can work together in different ways to achieve a common goal.
To date, we have worked on a number of GNSS / GPS UAV Jamming Trials on systems including GLONASS (Russia), Galileo (EU), BeiDou (China), QZSS (Japan) and IRNSS or NavIC (India). We also have extensive experience operataing UAV Jamming on 5.8GHz, 2.4GHz, 915MHz, 868MHz, 459MHz and 433MHz frequencies. Our latest UAV technology includes AI artificially intelligent UAVs which are capable of intelligent navigation without a GNSS / GPS signal.
Working to our own tried and tested methodology, we can develop anything from basic UAVs which can operate at a press of a button, to complex and fully autonomous UAVs operating using AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology. Some of our more complex projects involve us developing a complete turnkey solution, UAV and accompanying software for complex problems, complex environments and situations. Using collission avoidance and AI technology we can achieve great things!
