Aerialworx are proud to announce their new 120m Tether System. We have been using this tether solution successfully for a variety of projects since April 2021. This weather resistant and swappable microtether solution enable us to operate a variety of drones ranging from the DJI Inspire2 to our own custom 6s powered drones.

This sophisticated high powered tethered system enables us to power our bespoke drone’s and other DJI drones through a very thin very high powered tethered cable and fly for very long extended periods of time. We can operate totally off-the-grid and self sufficient with our high powered generator. We can even send video and data up and down the tether and perform on-the-fly processing on the ground if required.

All of this is monitored carefully by our trained crew using a variety of measures including an Anemometer, Thermometer, Generator Performance App and Tether Wireless App, which provides us with a variety of metrics enabling us to detect potential issues before they happen.

To date, our record is operating continuously at 65 meters in 12kts of wind for 7 hours 25 minutes.

We have also operated for over 25 continuous hours with 15 safety check stops every 4 hours.

We have a variety of mounting plates and options which enable us to carry a variety of payloads. We also have an extensive workshop where we can customise anything required for carrying specialised payloads.
