What a great team and an amazing shoot filming in the Lake District with the Gymshark production team and Ross Edgley. When Gymshark contacted us asking for our advice and assistance filming Adventurer, Author and Swimmer Ross Edgley we literally leaped at the opportunity. This was going to be a special day for us and a blast for Ross as he revisited some of the challenges that he’d accomplished over the years… Walking 1000 miles barefooted with a 50kg backpack, the tree athlon where Ross carries a tree on his back (it’s out of this world) and finally, the worlds strongest marathon where Ross pulls a car for 26 miles. Phew!
For this dynamic and fast paced one day shoot, we knew we had a lot of ground to cover in little time with no time for messing about. With this being Ross’ first on line campaign for Gymshark, we needed something special which guaranteed good quality footage that would match well with the other cameras on set and for this reason we recommended our DJI Inspire 2 with the X7 camera. With plenty of room in our van we kept the drone hot and ready to go at short notice which enabled us to capture stunning shots of Ross on his adventures swimming, running and messing about!
