Tesla Car Commercial : Model S and Model X
Tesla electric cars are as capable in the city as they are in the wild and remote roads of the Highlands of Scotland. What we didn’t expect was the sudden change in weather and when we woke up on day 1 of a 3 day shoot we were presented with a thick layer of snow. Add sub zero temperatures and ice and this made for an exciting shoot. We spent three amazing days filming at various locations around Scotland, including the spectacular roads surrounding Loch Lomond within the Trossachs National Park.
To film these two Tesla cars, the Model S and the Model X, we used our medium-lift Sony A7S drone, with it’s remarkable low light ability and filmed both in daylight and at night in conditions varying from 20mph+ wind and snow to calm and sunny spells.

As consumers demand safer and cleaner methods of travel, Tesla have met the challenge to produce these incredibly futuristic vehicles. Tesla builds the world’s best-selling electric car in 2015, 2016 and 2017. But to some, the great misconception is that these cars are made for cities, not for touring far flung and remote destinations. Tesla proves the doubters wrong and show that Tesla cars are as capable in the city jungle as they are in the wild and remote roads of the Highlands of Scotland.
