The Detectives
A man is viciously attacked with an axe on a Rochdale estate and a witness comes forward with the name of a local gang member as the main suspect.
The small specialist team of police officers launch an attempted murder investigation in an operation that leads to an extraordinary two-year operation. It’s aim, to take down one of Greater Manchester’s most significant Organised Crime Groups. The detectives uncover a sophisticated criminal network involved in large scale, drug dealing, using children as mules to deal drugs, witness intimidation, money laundering, and kidnapping. It soon becomes clear that bringing the gang to justice will not be easy.
